San Francisco, CA – Introducing Pidgy! Pidgy (ID 28101638) is a handsome male pigeon who recently married Tippler pigeon Carmel and is also going to have a leg reconstruction surgery that will hopefully allow him to bear weight and even walk again. This brave, gentle racing survivor came to Palomacy badly injured and incredibly lucky to be alive. Pidgy was struck by a hawk and dropped into traffic where a kind person pulled over to assist. Pidgy's rescuer found Palomacy and we are stepping in to provide medical help and supportive foster care, hoping that Pidgy will have a full recovery! Please consider opening your heart to them, and provide them a happy, no-kill, forever home they deserve!
