John photo
Napa, CA – Introducing Wayne (ID 44819) and his friend, John (ID 44818)! They are adorable young barred rock friends who are looking for a nice home. Roosters are intelligent, empathetic, and affectionate and can live together peacefully as part of a bachelor flock. When there are no hens involved, they are more likely to form their own little flock and the experience is very enriching and fun. They are like little puppy dogs and follow you around and look up to you. It is different than when you have a traditional flock of hens and a rooster.
They are looking for a new home where they will NEVER be killed, protected from predators, taken to the vet when sick or injured, and well-cared for and loved as a pet and fellow family member. Please consider opening your heart to them, and provide them a happy, no-kill, forever home they deserve!
**NEW PLEASE READ: If you adopt these boys, we offer free consulting services for any integration or behavioral issues and starting up a bachelor flock. Just let us know when you adopt them, so we are aware!
