Escondido, CA – Introducing Pancho! He's a confident, personable rooster who gets along surprisingly well with dogs, sharing his space without fuss and carrying himself like he belongs right in the middle of the pack. Friendly and alert, he keeps a close eye on his surroundings-but he does have one notable flaw: his enthusiasm for greeting the day starts very early and very loudly. While his sunrise crowing can be a bit much before the coffee's ready, it's all part of his bold, watchful personality. He has been waiting for a home at this shelter since October.
He is looking for a new home where he will NEVER be killed, protected from predators, taken to the vet when sick or injured, and well-cared for and loved as a pet and fellow family member. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
