Escondido, CA – Introducing Manny! He is a gentle rooster who has been waiting at the shelter since October for a kind person to adopt him. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, calmly sharing his space with them as if they've always been part of his flock. Around people, though, he's a bit more shy - preferring to keep a cautious distance and observe rather than jump into interaction. With his alert eyes and quiet watchfulness, Manny shows his trust in subtle ways, making him a sweet, respectful companion who just takes a little extra time to warm up.
He is looking for a new home where he will NEVER be killed, protected from predators, taken to the vet when sick or injured, and well-cared for and loved as a pet and fellow family member. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
