Weaverville, CA – Introducing Hei Hei! Meet Hei Hei! This handsome (and vocal!) gentleman is looking for his forever home! Hei Hei came to us during the course of a cruelty investigation and he is seeking a new coop to call home. He is smaller than your standard rooster, but has his full feathers, tail, and spurs so we know that he is an adult. We think he must be some sort of bantam mix. He is a mover and shaker and spends quite a bit of time hopping from shelf to shelf in his temporary home in the Catio. Hei Hei would love a large run, especially if there are ladies in it. He has not been aggressive with staff and, although he is sometimes hard to catch, he chooses flight over fight.

He is looking for a new home where he will NEVER be killed, protected from predators, taken to the vet when sick or injured, and well-cared for and loved as a pet and fellow family member. Please consider opening your heart to him, and providing him a happy, no-kill, forever home he deserves!
